Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus with Gruyere
The easiest savoury and nutty side of greens. Topped with crispy melted well-aged cheese it’s a real treat for dinner. Or served as a starter.
Ingredients
12 asparagus spears, trimmed, peeled
12 slices prosciutto
½ cup well-aged Parmigiano Reggiano, grated
½ cup Gruyere, grated
Preparation
Preheat oven to 400°F. Wrap asparagus with prosciutto and place on parchment-lined baking sheet. Top with cheeses and bake for about 5 - 8 minutes until cheese is bubbly, and asparagus is still slightly crisp.
