This is the recipe that brings families together and the conversation flowing. “Are we having Sex in a Pan?”

Salted Chocolate-Dipped Rice Krispies Squares

I should have called this bar, “The OMG I Need This” because that’s what you’ll say after you’ve had it once. You must use good milk chocolate not dark chocolate, and sea salt flakes not fine. The humble rice krispie square gets a redo with good vanilla and sea salt, then dipped in melted chocolate and sprinkled with sea salt.

Chewy Chocolate Gingerbread Cookies

Ahh, the smell of baking gingerbread. Here, a recipe that is one of our very favourite for the holidays. Gingerbread, chocolate and crunchy sugar. And the aroma fills your house as it shud.

Baking & Desserts

French Apple Tart with Brown Butter Glaze & Maldon Salt

A beautiful French apple tart with crisp, buttery pastry, naturally sweet Honeycrisp apples (you could also use more tart Granny Smith’s) and a delicate brown sugar butter glaze. Finished with flaky Maldon sea salt for the perfect balance of sweet and salty.

Mains

Chicken Parmesan with Tomato Sauce

A recipe so delicious you'll want to pick the bubbly cheese parts right from the pan. San Marzano tomato sauce and a well-aged Parmesan like Reggiano take it to another level.

Brown Sugar and Citrus Roasted Salmon

This salmon gets its incredible flavour from a simple combination of brown sugar, fresh lemon juice and extra-virgin olive oil. The brown sugar adds just enough sweetness to balance the richness of the salmon, while fresh lemon keeps everything bright.

Sides

Honey Roasted Carrots and Parsnips

This special vegetable dish could take centre stage, the combination of slightly charred vegetables (created by roasting directly on a baking dish), toasted nuts, honey and dates is incredible.

Sweet Peas with Bacon & Lemon

Sweet peas, salty bacon, bright lemon — if you like peas, this is the perfect side. Start by frying chopped bacon until it’s deeply golden, then set it aside so it stays perfectly crisp.
